My Story
I struggled with weight my whole life and tried every fad diet out there. I joined those franchise gyms. Nothing worked! Anytime I lost weight, I put it right back on plus a whole lot more. I was tired all the time, unmotivated to do anything, and my knees started giving me trouble. Finally, one day I decided that I had enough and began my personal journey of weight loss and fitness. I will not lie, it was a struggle. I cried, I swore, and even fell off the program. The difference this time is that I got right back in it which was something I never did before. I wasn’t going to wait until Monday to start my diet ever again.
Through this journey, I had a trainer who believed in me, saw my potential, and wouldn’t give up on me. THAT was the difference. I wanted this, my trainer knew it, and wouldn’t let me fail. As I lost weight, I fell in love with fitness and decided to become a personal trainer and a weight loss specialist. I’ve learned the importance of balancing nutrition and fitness and how both are vital in becoming strong and healthy. It has been over X years now…I’ve had a 100+ pound physical transformation and learned so much through this continued journey. With each pound lost, I gained more self esteem and confidence and began to love myself again…something I haven’t felt in a long time.
Now I want to help YOU reach your goals because I understand your struggle and those behaviors that have kept you from succeeding. We will erase those old tapes! We will discuss nutrition and set up a nutrition plan that works for you. We will train hard and sometimes we will just talk! You see, this isn’t just about losing weight, lifting weights, and building muscle. This is about your mind, body and soul. This is about being the best possible you that you can be inside and out.

Our Story
Fierce Fitness, now located on 10 Main Street in Bristol, CT is a group and personal training studio, owned by Lynn Pernal. We’re proud to offer morning, evening, and weekend small group classes and personal training opportunities to women and men of all abilities. Lynn’s membership ranges in age from about 18-80. While Fierce Fitness is certainly an environment where you will be challenged to become your most fit self, Lynn tailors the workout experiences to meet each client’s unique needs and personal fitness goals. Everyone is successful in our classes and personal training!
Lynn began training in 2014 after her own journey with weight loss and fitness. She started teaching classes in the former MF Training up the street which was a partnership between Justin Michaels and Nate Filipak. From there, she branched out to begin Fierce Fitness on Riverside Avenue, proudly expanding her class offerings in a spacious studio. After 7 years, Lynn decided to move to the D’Amato Construction building at 10 Main Street, Bristol CT with Peak 10 Training and Nutrition. She continues to offer morning, evening, and weekend classes and personal training opportunities in a state-of-the art facility with air conditioning, showers, and even a cafe at the current location. Fierce continues to grow and support clients in their fitness and weight loss journeys.
